I figured it's a limped pot, they could have anything here. Easy fold right? I have to put someone on something better than TPGK no? K5s? 44?

What do you think they had?

Two hands later, in a donk-raise pot (KQ is a default fold for me against any real raise):

Raise the flop? I was 50-50 with so many draws. I don't have a read on the preflop raiser so i'll give him credit for having a hand. Call and re-evaluate.

    *** TURN *** [6s Qs Tc] [Kh]
    matchbookdapalo checks
    Bo Brunson checks
    baudib1 bets 1,200
    matchbookdapalo raises to 2,400
Bo Brunson has 15 seconds left to act
    Bo Brunson has been disconnected
    Bo Brunson has reconnected
Bo Brunson has 15 seconds left to act
    Bo Brunson folds
baudib1 raises to 2,450, and is all in
    matchbookdapalo calls 50

Obviously I'm not folding, but I thought it was more likely than not I was up against AJ/J9.

What hand do you put these donks on?

Hand 1 - your fold is fine, but you are ahead of a lot as well. The raisers range includes 44, 55, 67, 9K-AK, and maybe some weird suited Ks that gives him 2 pair.

Hand 2 - a minraise on the turn is a lot scarier than a minraise on the flop, but yeah he could have you crushed or he could have hands like JK, TK, AK, so you have to go with it. I think either line you take on the flop is fine as well. Considering you have the Ks, the only card you are truly hating on the turn would be the 3 non-spade As.

Thanks. Sorry to post results but I think it's crucial here. In both hands, all four kings were out:

Hand 1: The donks had KJ and KT and got it all in on the flop.
Hand 2: The donk had K6 (bottom pair on flop, no draw) and we both boated on the river.

A lot of things I do in poker involve concealing the strength of my hands, whether it's limping AA/AK UTG or just calling/checking with AJ/KQ type hands on the button or BB. I find it is largely effective because of the number of donks who play Ax/QJ/KT and will stack off on top pair. And I can "escape" situations like this cheaply, feeling I'm not too invested in the hand.

But is the fact I'm too often folding the best hand preflop or on the flop a good or bad sign?
Playing big pots at small stakes.
