Default Stars $6.50 for review please.

Could someone take a look at this please?

    http://www.flopturnriver.com/Online-...ment-4389.html

Specific hands I want comments on are:-

Hand 4: 7s Qh - BB had been tight so I tried a steal. What should I be doing in this situation?
Hand 6: Ks Qc - This seems to happen a lot. I raise in late position, get called, miss the flop, and have to throw the hand away. Should I be raising a bit more? SB was a bit loose, but BB was quite tight.
Hand 8: 2s Ah - Another example of me losing chips. Should I c-bet this flop?
Hand 9: Qh Kh - UTG is a winning player, but I have seen him do this before with hands like KJ or QJ. Is the call ok with this information?
Hand 10: Ad 8s - Is this too loose? Should I c-bet this flop?
Between Hands 16 and 17: Kh Qs - UTG was 8/8 at this point. The raise was to 600, leaving himself 2950. I have 2795 remaining after posting the SB and the 25 ante. Should I push over here?
Hand 18: Qs 9c - Just trying to mix things up in this hand.

Sorry to bump this, but it was almost down onto page 2.

The middle and end stages of this SnG follow a typical pattern that I seem to be having at the moment at the $6.50s, so any advice on what I could have done differently would be appreciated.

just from breifly looking at the way you play hands, it seems like you dont really understand board texture...for example, on hand 10, you have to realize that is a terrible flop to cbet with just a high. i would like to see what others have to say but it seems like you cbet when you shouldnt and you freeze up when you should be firing.

im by no means an expert but see if you can internally notice any patterns and ask yourself or some of us if your making the best move possible.

The reason I c-bet Hand 10 was that I was the pre-flop raiser, and then OPP checked the flop. I just felt checking behind here was weak, especially as the same OPP had called my pre-flop raise in Hand 6 and then bet into me.

I do seem to struggle with this part of my game though, so any advice is welcome.

After a few weeks playing the DoNs, I've followed Nakamura's example and gone back to the regular payout SnGs. Nobody got round to reviewing this one properly the first time around, but if anyone could do this, I would be really grateful.

OK, I'll take a look when I get a chance. Sorry that I missed this the first time around.

My thoughts ... your push/fold game seems good, but before that point seemed a bit laboured. I have added some thought on key hands

Hand 1: 2s2h. I would probably put in less than a pot sized bet here (maybe up to 2/3 pot), but I think this is ok.
Hand 2: 2c2h. Raise preflop. You have a big stack and a good hand. The blinds will mostly fold but if you get a call throw out a CB and release the hand if you are called.
Hand 4: Qh7s. I normally just fold this kind of hand. If I played it I would just push pre-flop. It's +EV if opp is calling <20%.
Hand 6: KQ. It's a definite raise preflop. As a style issue bets of 250 versus 300. I get the impression opps call 250 v 300 much lighter. Usually I just commit 300 here and if I get played back at I will safely fold my hand. Coincidently this type of play by opp usually either means a missed or a weak hand, since even donks know that you will usually fire a bet here which they can come over (for an example see his play in a hand below). Still I usually just fold in this situation and make a note of which players are playing back at us.
Hand 8: A2. If you are going try steal here I would say you need to commit to at least one CB. The flop texture is ok as opp is unlikely to have a K or the FD. I would stick in a CB here and shut down to any opposition.
Hand 9: KQs. I think the call is incorrect. You are only just inside his range here and I think this call is -EV. Added to that you have 2 big stacks who could potentially call or raise and knock you out. If you are going to play this (which I don't recommend) you should simply raise AI since attracting one of the big-stacks or enticing them to come over us is a terrible result.
Hand 10: Ad8s. More conviction in your raises! They smell and look weak to other players. This villain has already shown he is ready to play back at us and once I miss the flop here I think I would probably check and take the free card. It's very easy to fall into the CB routine here, but the texture doesn't look very good. Curiously I think it's much more likely villain actually has a hand here than the earlier hand.
KhQs: Between hand 16 and 17. I would probably fold this unless you think opp is raising light.
Hand 18: I'm strictly push/fold here. In this case it's probably close, but I fold.
    Hand 19: Good call. Unlucky.

Overall ok, but I'd focus on putting in some more conviction into your steals or otherwise simply fold them pre-flop.
