Default Calling an ATC shove on the first hand of an MTT

This situation comes from an MTT that I was in some time ago. I had scheduled the tournament before realizing that I had something to do that evening, and by the time I remembered, it was too late to unregister. So I got seated at my table, and I told everyone that I was going to go all-in on every hand until I busted out.

So here's the situation. The player UTG says before the first hand is dealt that he's going to go all-in with any hand, and then on the first hand he does. You are on the button. What is your calling range? What if someone calls in front of you? What if two people call in front of you? What if you are UTG+1?

I have my own ideas about what is a good call here, but I'm going to wait a bit before commenting. I think your answer to this question says a lot about how you think about long-run tournament poker.

how big was the buyin? i think this does affect your decision a bit

if it's folded to us on the button, i'll stove my hand against the top 30-40% hands since

1: villain could just be lying. he might've intended to shove premium hands only, but at the start of every tournament he says hes going to shove ATC. if he gets a bad hand, he'll fold. everyone will accuse him of being a liar but what does he care, its the internet

2: he's UTG. following up on point 1, he probably rates to have a pretty strong hand here. did he really buy into a tournament just to get it in on the first hand as like 30-70 dog? possibly, but probably not

3: there's no need to double up so early. our M is huge so there's no reason to have to double up right now

Not enough info to answer properly. If its a fast tournament, I'd fold the first time he did it, even if heads up unless I had 1010+. If he does it multiple times, I'd start calling heads up with J10+. In a multiway only call with KK, AA.

Please assume for the sake of this topic that the player is telling the truth.

If you're sitting on the button, why would you crapshoot your whole tourney hoping this guy is:
    1. telling the truth
    2. got a bad hand

I believe the data will show as soon as someone starts to TRY to lose on purpose, they will double up 6.9 times in a row on average. :P

My answer, I'd need QQ+ for the first level of the tourney.

Again, this guy has a really valid reason for doing this (it was too late to unregister and he has to leave), and he seems pretty earnest (he says, "Good luck in the chip lottery.").

Also, it's just one of the $3.30 MTTs on Pokerstars, one of those that runs several times a day.
