Kill Everyone, including early stage play?

After finishing the HOH series a while ago ive started on Kill Everyone and suddenyl gotten a bit confused. All the posts ive read, videos ive watched allways stress "tight is right, but tighter is righter in early stages". So what am i supposed to make of Kill Everyone suggesting pplaying quite loose in the early stages to see cheap flops and hopefully double up? this is the opposite of everything ive seen up to this point! please help!

It doesn't say play loose and it says what most other books say. They say play scs and pps in position. In other words, if there are a couple of limpers and you are on the button you can limp in with 67s or 33. You can also call small raises with pps and sometimes with scs. I believe that KE gives you two %es of when it's ok to call raises. I suggest that you reread the first sections of the book again.
