Default ITM: TPNKon flop in BB vs. SB

Villain is a total donk; he opened shoved QQ from UTG on the first hand; three-bet all-in with A7o on the bubble to beat TT.

Does anyone call this? Seems like easy fold; he had never limped from the SB before so this smells like KK/AA.

I raise the flop to about 700 - top pair blind vs blind is to my mind a good hand worth a raise. If he shoves over then you can figure you're beat; same if he calls your raise and fires again on the turn. I think I prefer this to calling to the river, losing even more chips and not even getting to show your hand down.

Sure, there's a risk that he has AA or KK but other holdings that will fold to a raise are definitely also possible.

You're right of course. I was fishing for a second pair to stack him because I suspected that's what he had all along.

The Q probably saved me money because I realized it made many hands he could have been semi-bluffing with (J8, QJ, KJ, KQ/AQ).

Don't understand the flat call on the flop. I raise there. If he shoves over I tank and fold.

If he fires the turn after I worry, and probably fold. Otherwise check behind and see what happens on river.

This is probably a call on the river given the pot odds
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.
