HU flop 2 pair and all goes awry

I always like to play bottom two pair fast. I lead out for 1000 and see what he does - although if you are very confident he will bet here if you check then I guess checking (with the intention of raising AI) is OK too.

Ugh, this is the reason to play bottom two fast when there is a draw on board. That said, you have to lead for 1000, I don't give him credit for the flush (yet).

So I lead for 1000, and he smooth calls me. River is , I check, he bets 600.

I'm paying him off right?

I guess it was FPS to not bet that flop.

HU, with reads sometimes it's a call. Although it's just the right-size bet to give you odds to call with a real hand...how do you feel about shoving over here?

I definitely call the river. No way am I folding two pair getting 6:1 pot odds even with a four-flush on board.

I feel terrible about shoving over. Don't think I'm folding anything that beats me
