Default K5s in BB to big stack limp

6max turbo mtt on betfair. Blinds up every 2mins and we're at 150/300/60.

30 left out of 78 and I have 2400 chips. SB has 5500 chips.

SB has limped on the button and folded to flop bet, and has folded other 3 hands since he joined the table.

4 folds, SB limps, Hero has .

Do I shove or take a flop? I have another question about the hand, but I'd like to find the answer to this first

I jam, yes, SB should be open shoving any 2.

I think you shove. Stealing from weak-passives is your MTT oasis.

I shove AI. If he limps with anything other than pairs, suited and broadway cards, we're ahead. Got to get your chips in sometime.

With that many chips in the pot, you are short, and your read, I shove.

    Thanks guys,

I called because I made the wrong decision.

    Flop was

    SB shoves.

Is this a call or a fold?

I assume if flop is Kxx (no A) this is a call

I would fold the flop, but it's possible that chardrian is right; maybe I'm just underestimating how terrible people are at poker.

Given your read I would probably shove any two preflop, and for sure shove a hand as strong as this one.

Everyone keeps mentioning my read. He's been at the table for 5 hands and played one where he limped the button folded the flop. Is that a read?

Moreover what is it telling me that I don't seem to be fully understanding?

Well, he didn't raise on the button and he didn't push the small blind. Other than that, he folded. it's not much but he seems to be weak-tight.
