Default 88: Shoving over the idiot bigstack to isolate

This just happened moments ago; villain had just gotten to the table and had played every hand. He cracked QQ, calling a big raise oop with A6o. He limped UTG with 64s to knock out a shortstack.

I'm a big stack in this tournament and this is pretty reckless, and I'm not in love with my hand, but I'm not playing a flop with this guy OOP. Even morons know to reraise with AA/KK here.
If he happens to have cold-called with a monster, so be it. This pot is mine. Yes?

And hey, if he calls with A6o I'm happy.

I feel the same way about it. I hate playing OOP against reckless donks, I'll take this nice pot without him in it anyday. If he is that terrible who knows, he could call with 77 or some ragged paint. I like the shove since he could be calling with a large variety of hands.

Question: Does he usually raise his really strong hands preflop?

He had limped into all five hands I had seen him play, including 64 UTG.

(I didn't have this info at the time, so maybe I shouldn't post it, but I played about five orbits with him and only saw him raise once and he stole the blinds; he limped AK from MP a few hands later when I was in the big blind. At the FT I knocked him out when he three-bet with JTs when I raised UTG with AK.His raise left him with like $10,000 left, and when I put him all-in he hesitated; I wonder if he considered folding or if he thought I would just fold when he repopped me.)

Regardless of the variety of hands he may call with, I don't think we want a call here. Although we may be flipping a lot when he calls, that is the best case scenario.

    I like the push btw.

Wrong, he could easily have 64 or A3 or Q5. However, I'm at the bottom of my range UTG+1 myself so I'm cool that he folded, too.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
