While pp is certainly possible, villain could definitely be in for the straight draw here or even an overpair. Not many folks understand pot odds at this level and, even so, implied odds would probably be pretty good here.

My inclination would be to bet here (2/3 to full pot) because checking offers villain a free draw card.

Probably my leak here but even if villain re-raises, don't think I'd have the guts to fold this, I probably going down with the ship if villain has a boat....

Cool, that's pretty much what I went for:

    Turn: (t900) 8 (2 players)
    Hero bets t750, MP3 raises to t1500, Hero raises to t2250 (All-In)

It's just that when I saw that flop, I was thinking, "Well, I'm getting hosed by T7." Didn't know if that turn could have saved me. Obviously I was coolered, and I didn't mind losing to T7 there, but I didn't know if in general that card should slow me down. I was actually thinking the opposite... that I should be betting more since any 8 is in it for the long haul.

LOL... I'm afraid playing LO8 has warped my NLHE thinking a bit. That board is a pretty easy check/call or maaaaaybe bet/call, check/call in LO8.
