Default SB calls prf raise, check raises flop, Can I fold top two?

    $3 + $0.30 Tournament, 6max, Double stacks, Blinds 40/80

    Hero (3,110) on Button
    Villian (5,910) in SB

    Hero [Ts Ah]
    UTG folds
    HJ folds
    CO folds
    Hero raises to 240
    Villain calls 200
    BB Folds
    *** FLOP *** [4c Tc As]
    Villain checks
    Hero bets 375
    Villain raises to 1,685

No reads on Villain, he recently moved to the table. I'd usually have a hard time folding two pair in this situation, but I'm super healthy still if I make this weak fold. It'd be much easier to fold if there was no club draws and straight draws he could be check raising with. But still, only reasonable hand that beats me is 44, can I fold?

I'll bet anyone on this forum $10 that OP got it in and villain had 44.

never fold this hand BU vs SB, he can easily have a bare ace here. with the clubs out esp but either way.

Fist pump call, hit the 4 outer if he has 44, 2 outer if he has TT and running quads if he has AA.

You have top two in a tournament where people go batshit crazy with any ace let alone a big aces.

Stop thinking about tournaments this way. Doesn't matter how "healthy" or "desperate" you are, it only matters how your hand fares against his range. As said, he can have any ace so don't fold.
