re raise pre, turbo shove over pre flop as played, shove as played. He sure doesn't think you have AK.

Are you saying you should get away from this because AQ made two pair?
Playing big pots at small stakes.

The first flat call is OK, but after BB shoves, then you should reshove preflop to get rid of MP2 and play the pot HU against the BB with lots of dead chips.

As played, I am insta shoving, the only hands you are fearing are AA, QQ and AQ. He bets the flop with way more than just these hands, if he has any of those hands I pay him.

I thought about that too, but i got the feeling he wasn't going away and it was so early in the game that i didn't want to flip against a pair, but rather see if i got any help on the flop.

Anyway, I did shove over his bet, just checking if thats what you guys would do.

if we had more chips I could see maybe cold calling the first raise but with him only having 1400 I don't see the point. Am I correct in assuming you are folding if you miss the flop?

Stop thinking about it being "early". Early is a bad concept in a MTT but a horrible one in an SNG. You play tighter as an SNG goes on, not looser. Of course the escalation of the blinds alters what you would consider tight and or loose play but passing up an edge because it is early makes no sense.

Plus if you shove in preflop AQ should fold.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
