AQo in the BB checked preflop

This is an interesting hand from a full tourney I just posted. I figured that not many will look at the untrimmed tournament, but that this hand was interesting.

No specific reads apart from averti who I've played numerous times and is ridiculously weak tight, and sikulubean who called pf raise, floated me a couple of hands ago with air and bet half his stack on the river with the same nothing.

The interesting parts are my preflop check in the BB, and betting out on the flop. Does anyone think this was good/bad and how would you play it differently?

Personally I shove back preflop. Pot is already 300 chips or almost 20% of your stack, I don't mind taking it down now.

As played, I think you played fine provided that you get the rest of your chips in on the river regardless of what comes since you only have 580 behind.

im not sure if i like the check at this blind level....if u raise to 200-250, those blinds are a significant addition to your stack. i like the check like that early on but less and less as the tourney progresses..
