Also, remember that if you're IP, your opponent is OOP. So even if you're playing your hand for set value, your opponent will have a difficult time trying to control the pot size because you'll never have to donk a street or put in a raise to get 3 pot sized bets post-flop.

But if you're OOP you either have to check/raise a good hand or you have to donk it to get 3 bets in when your opponent wants to only put in 2.
