    Default Another bad bubble push

Checking PT stats. Have so many bubbles lately trying to figure out if I am pushing bad. Needless to say I shouldn't be getting so low stacked but sometimes that happens. Comments on following? Seems pretty bad now that I look at it. Table has been TIGHT the entire game including the chip leader. My image is a little looser but far from a maniac.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10+$1 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds 25 Ante (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB (t1510)
    Hero (UTG) (t1270)
    Button (t9290)
    SB (t1430)

    Hero's M: 3.17

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 10, 9
    Hero raises to t1245 (All-In), 1 fold, SB raises to t1405 (All-In), 1 fold

    Flop: (t2790) 9, Q, 5 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Turn: (t2790) 4 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    River: (t2790) 8 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Total pot: t2790
It's not how many pots you win, it's what's in them that counts.

Ugly spot, and I haven't run it through SNG Wiz, but I am pretty sure this one is a fold. My guess is 55/66+, A9/AT+

Ran This through SNGPT and it looks like a push in a tight game.

    Push hands: 22+,AKo,AQo,AJo,ATo,A9o,A8o,A7o,A5o,A2s+,KJo+,K9s+ ,QJo,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s (22.5%)
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

OK. The game was very tight. So I'm not so far off pushing here according to SNGPT. Makes me feel a little better!

What range are you using as "tight"?

Just ran this in SNG Wiz, and assuming Button shoves over with 12% (44+, A9o+, A7s, KQs), SB calls with 88+, AQo+, ATs+ and BB calls with 44+, ATo+, A8s+, KQs then shoving is very slightly -EV.

Maybe it's a leak of mine that I wouldn't shove wide enough in this spot with the short stacks in the blinds and the antes having kicked in. Wiz suggests shoving 66+, ATo+, A8s+ and KQs with the calling ranges above.
