99 with raise from shortstack, risk half my chips?

Opp is a tight regular. I feel like he wants a call here. If he has AK we're pretty happy to raise him AI right? But I think if he had Ax he'd just shove. But I feel like if I'm going to call here for i may as well raise him all in.

He's a tight regular but does he open shove properly when shortstacked? I have many regs that raise half their stack pf even when low.

If you've watched him shove in seemingly correct spots I'd fold here. Else I'm tempted to shove

I'd be more tempted to call a shove here. Unless the player is terrible this type of raise from a shortstack generally signals enormous strength. Or maybe he's just trying to look strong with 77. I think I'd fold. However, I've seen people do Stop-N-Goes with stupid hands like AJo lately.

I agree. If opp had shoved I would probably reshove, but a tight regular won't raise 45% of his stack without being delighted to get a call/shove over.
