200NL - Overpair bvb facing flop raise
Okay... First off, I always get confused in situations such as this. Posting what you would do in this particular hand probably isn't going to help me all that much tbh. I need to know why, because I think my logic in these situations are flawed or something, and I just don't see things here as clearly as I should. So please, thoughts on villains range, our line, our range for taking that line, why the line you choose is superior to other possible lines, etc, would all help me greatly.
Assume villain here is an unknown.
So, imo, I feel a bet/fold here is too weak. This seems like a decent board for villain to be bluff raising with any decent amount of equity. However, I really don't like the thought of b/cing here. It seems we are going to be in a shitty spot on the turn often. So I thought a b/3b here is the best line to take. However, not only am I confused whether that is the correct line, but I'm also confused on what the ideal 3b size would be. I would assume we want it small enough to allow him to jam his FDs over the top, but I'm likely wrong. So thoughts on 3b size as well, and what we are hoping to accomplish with a 3b if we do 3b this flop.

Flop: ($22, 2 players)
Hero bets $16, captainkegg raises to $42, $26 to Hero ($175.75)?
