Default 55 vs. minbet on K high flop

Was this a bad place to put my chips? With his donk bet I knew he was weak (unless he was slow playing). I was putting him on unimproved AX. Would a stronger bet have been more effective, or should i have just saved the chips for a better spot?

What donk bet? He was the PFR and he CBet the flop. It was an incredibly weak CBet, which at this stake, completely reveals his hand so the flop raise is alright. From my experiences, players like this probably wouldn't fold to a shove on the flop with their Ace-high/Gutshot

Fold preflop - you don't have implied odds to call the raise and play for set value (in fact, you don't even really have express odds).

As played, considering your stack size, I probably just call the donkminbet and try to get to showdown as cheap as possible (unless of course we hit a 5 on the turn or river).

ya fold preflop. If it folded to you I'd push but you can never burn off this much of your stack with 55 with two people left to act. Doing it on the bubble is really awful.

It is a raise/fold situation preflop IMO

Fold pre, shoving is better than calling. Flop minbet says nothing other than opp uses the raise button and doesn't set the amounts. Note he did same pre, and that a lot of players do this.

55 is weak post flop and we're going to war with big stack on the bubble with it. Anyone see a problem here?
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

ya, and I'm one of those types who never think they have the king (always think they have the A though) but folding all streets is the way to go.

I fold pre-flop here. 55 isn't strong enough to push on the bubble and you can't call for set value.
