Default $6.50 short. Discussion of push hands

This depends on ranges. I actually have done the calcs on here, and it's near the border but definitely to one side.

It's a common spot to find yourself in having been tight and card dead early. Question is what do you push here, and is A8o in your range?

What about A5s, KTs, KJo, 22, 33? Do you push any/all of these. Are they all folds? Please answer putting opps on ranges. I have no reads for 2 reasons. First I was 4 tabling, 2nd this was days ago and I'm doing some homework on my ICM plays.

    2 folds, Hero?

This is one of those interesting hands where there isn't much difference in expected value between shoving and folding, and also where whether opps call tight or loose doesn't make much difference. In a game I probably fold this but it's very close.

As for the other hands you mention, those do vary quite a bit based upon calling ranges.

    I tend to fold here.

Oh wait I looked at the wrong stack size, hero has 890, I thought he had 1715. I shove this and all the hands you listed.

I couldn't find a combination of ranges to make it -EV

Running it in Wiz, if they are all very loose it's a fold, but even then it's not very -EV. Remember one of the differences is that Wiz takes into account the possibility that if you fold that somebody behind you will shove, get called and either bust out or bust somebody else out). That said, shoving is most likely correct here.
