    Default 50nl 3 barrel this?

Not much history with villain but he seems tagg.

    Bodog BB is $.50

    Hero is SB ($102)
    Villain is BTN ($109)

    Preflop: Hero is dealt
3 folds, BTN calls $.50, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BTN calls $1.50

    Flop ($4.50):
Hero bets $3, BTN calls $3

    Turn ($10.50):
Hero bets $7, BTN calls $7

    River ($24.50):
    Hero?

Fire the 3rd shot to get him to fold 44-88 or flush draws, and if so how much??

    ...Good Question........Where am I?
I was just curious what your table image was, or did you feel like you really had one? And for those who will be answering the thread, how much do you think that effects this decision?

The villain in this hand seems to be a thinking player (even with his weird BTN limp), and would likely see me as somewhere between nit and tagg. He has not seen me show down any bluffs.

I wouldn't 3 barrel nor double barrel because I don't think the 3 on the turn changes much at all.

I think it's a terrible spot for a triple barrel. It's probably bad even to two barrel this board.
You don't have much fold equity at all on the turn or the river.

Am I the only one that just completes in the SB instead of raising?

    edit: with this hand

I was afraid this might be the case. Just so I can be clear I should be double barreling if an offsuit A, K, or 8 falls?

I would need reads in the first place to think that doubling might get a fold here.

I'd rather fire one barrel than double and then give up. No pairs are going to call the flop and fold this turn. A-high might even peel both flop and turn.

Any reads on his ability to fold? If I was going to triple here I'd probably overbet around $35, but I'd have to know villain can fold a boat.

With the short time I spent on the table with villain I certainly felt like he could fold some lower boats and his BTN limp looks suspiciously like a small pair. He has no reason to look me up other than the strength of his own hand. My line looks pretty much like a pair as well so he has to guess where he is.

that board ran out pretty dire to 3 barrel bluff.
your getting looked up by ALOT

No one ever folds a boat, no matter how little the hand's relative strength is. And I don't like the double barrel either.
