Default Would you ever make such a call?

This is like the 10th hand of the tourney, I've only played one hand previously in which I showed down a boat. He turned over JJ. I was shocked. I was afraid i was telegraphing my hand, but hoping he had KK or maybe QQ and wouldnt be able to get away from it. I mean I loved the call, but with the strength I was showing here would you ever call with Jacks at this stage of a SnG? I'd hope I could find a fold if I were him.

terrible 4 bet by him and hence bad call.

I suddenly like the idea however of min 4betting JJ here this deep. When 5 bet shove it makes the fold easy. That is opposed to flatting the 3bet and seeing all unders flop and calling at least 1 maybe even two more bets.

Would be more interesting if MP1 had starting stack. Because he's so deep this is silly.

How big was the BB here? Surely it can't be 5 chips?

Very badly played by villian, this can only be justified with AA/KK IMO

In MP1's position I would either fold or just flat call your 3-bet and see what came on the flop rather than min re-raising and calling your shove. Wonder if he thought he was up against exactly AK?

I had almost the same thing happen to me. Except that it was later on in the SnG and I had played very tight. After raising back and forth he called my all-in. I had KK's and he called with JJ.
The only difference was he hit his set and felted me...

In a SnG you dont have lots of time to get chips so you see guys call with less than pristine hands.

Well, I berated the donk above and then made a similar move myself today. I just couldn't fold the Q's. Though I do put QQ in a different category than JJ, I should have been able to get away from this right?

The QQ hand is fine, maybe I make it 500 to go the first time around but I'm definitely not folding at any point. I think it'd be a cold day in hell when I'd fold QQ at a low buyin SNG in this spot.

Yeah got 4 bet AI by UTG raise with QQ first hand yesterday. Blows when it happens, but they have crap often enough
