JJ vs. Re-Raise

    Default JJ vs. Re-Raise

Midway through big $1 donkament (4k entrants), building a decent stack.

UTG Villain limps, Hero raises with JJ, Villain 2 (MP) calls, Villain 1 re-raises 2x, Hero Calls, Villain 2 All-In, Villain 1 Calls, Hero???

Nowhere near pot committed, and little leary of villain 1's big stack given position in tournament.

Players are active but not enough hands to really make a real read.

QQ seems obvious re-raise/call, bit unsure with JJ and/or 1010 here, thoughts?? Call, Push, Re-Raise or Fold??

    Villain 1: 43/13/na through 7 hands
    Villain 2 56/13/2.75 through 23 hands

I think when an unknown or a fish limps UTG and reraises the minimum over your raise, you can just assume he has at least QQ and play accordingly. Occasionally they'll show up with something really dumb but they'll have it often enough to make folding here be correct.

I agree with this, plus considering the allin, I think this is a case where you shouldn't call off a bunch of chips hoping to be in a coin flip.

I'm not worried about the all-in from Villain 2 at all, I'd lay 10:1 that we're ahead of him.

Agreed, given action and stack sizes, primary worry was Villain 1, not Villain 2

I think early on in a game, you gotta fold this.. get more of a feel for your opponents and what they're trying to do... later on if you got a better feel of your opponent, then you might make the call.. all depends
