    Default Tricky AK situation again

    In a MTT I have 8000 stack, op has 5000.
    Blinds are 75, 150, and I think the op is weak, lose preflop, passive.
    op limps from early pos, I pick up AKo in late pos and raise pot (675).
    Op calls and everyone else folds.
    Flop comes JQK rainbow.
    check-raise 1200, short pause and a call.
    What now, what range can I put him on? Should I call if he pushes, should I push all in?

    Well you said he was a loose passive player so i would put him on two pair or even the straight and this is why. Passive players fold a lot and tend to wait for two pair or better. They don't raise they just call call call and everyonce in a while they push em in but if they do they got a really good hand.

    EP limps in K-Js or Q-Js even a K-Qs maybe. What kind of hands was he playing passively before and from what possition? I mean if hes passive why push him? Why not just check and show it down?

    Why risk 80% of your stack on a hand that your so unsure of if the guy is just gonna check check because hes passive.

    Id probably bet the turn with the same amount 1200 to keep control of the hand and possition, keep him paying if he is on a draw. Then on the river just check if he checks. my two cents enjoy lol
    Stack That Arab Money!!!

    I guess the question was not so difficult, and you are right, he did in fact have QJ, dont remember if they were suited.
    I ended up dbling him up, but at the same time hopefully learnt my lesson.

    {from BC}

    Even though you may feel knew to the game and/or FTR it's better to post Tournament hand histories/thoughts in this forum as the best tournament players at FTR always check the MTT Forum but do not necessarily look through all of the beginner's circle.
