    Default A6s bubble $20 sitngo at stars

    So its been a pretty tight bubble and ive seen UTG min raise a few times, where I just called the BB and then folded when I missed. I know he has something here, but it doesn't show any real strength.

    UTG = 6,000
    Button =1300
    SB = 1700
    HERO = 2700 (dealt Ad6d)

    blinds 100/200 antes 25

    UTG raises to 400
    2folds
    Should I call or fold?

    To continue with this description and how badly i butchered this hand continue downwards with what I actually did.

    So I call 200 and see a flop, which I think is correct.
    Flop comes Qd 9c 3d
    I know he is going to bet 80 percent here, so I dont see much point in leading out. Should I check raise here or wait for a better spot and hope to get in the money.

    I actually check called when he bet 2/3 of the pot...the turn was a blank and he checked. The river was a jack and i bet 1000 into 1600 and he calls with KJ. I was left crippled and wondering why I'm such a moron.

    OK, there's quite a lot to comment on here.

    At this blind level you should almost never be flat calling a big stack min raise, the only time to do it is if you have a monster hand and want to trap, or maybe something like AK if there's a very short stack around

    I fold pretty fast here, not only do you have a hand that is easily dominated and could have really bad reverse implied odds on an A high flop but you are out of position postflop and you're the second stack with the other two stacks significantly shorter than you

    Already discussed above

    As played, I would check and see what he does, I wouldn't lead here either

    Fold, you don't have odds to call this bet (you're about 4.5 to 1 against to hit your flush on the turn and you're getting about 2.5 to 1 pot odds) and you can't assume that you won't face another bet on the turn

    As played there is no other choice other than checking the river and folding to any bet since you didn't hit

    If you're the first to act with only 4 people at the table, any A is playable, but calling with A rag is much different. Like taipan is saying, it's so hard to tell where u stand with such a low kicker. The board can come with an A and unless it has a 6 as well, you might just be digging yourself a hole.

    Fold pre. Big stacks can push people around because they hold the threat of busting you. Just accept it and only tangle with them with monsters. And I mean monsters. If he shoves pre I fold AK etc, you get the point.

    Fancy play on the bubble against a big stack is just pissing away $EV. Concentrate on the shortstacks.
