    Default small rebuy fields

ive read alot and seen plenty of videos about rebuy stragedy , how loose play befor break... risking plenty of buy ins on flips, implied odds and huge pot odds when 3-4 players are all in in front of you...to build a big stack to have after break,, i understand this stragedy BUT..

I play $2 and $5 rebuys and at the site i play the fields hardly ever reach 160 players usally avrage around 130 , and the agro players are far and few between(25/10 or higher) ,if there is a multi way all in pre flop hands that show down are 99+,AQ+ on most nights.
alot of players running around 23/4 - 35/7 and plenty of rocks 12/2 - 18/4 ..now i belive these type of players are eazy to handle after break, i still find myself with an avg. stack at break most nights

my stats are 18/10 and i show a nice profit in these games, the nights ive tryed an agro/lag approach i seem to be only running into better hands pre flop and making alot of lay downs post
so question is...which approach is better for these type of fields?

-Im showing good profit (if it aint broke dont fix it)
-step up agg. pre flop (more blind and limp stealing, 3betting more)
-use lag style more often (more limping, flat calling, wider range from cut off and button)
-go agro ...it will pay off in long run

Elipsesjeff's rebuy video is a great watch and well worth the 3 hour time investment.

I learned that there really is no wrong way (except being a complete donk) to play the first hour. My goal is 10k chips during the rebuy hour, and i'll take chances to try and double up, e.g. open shove hands with showdown value on a wild table.

After the add-on, I try to play my TAG game.

it sounds like on your site people are playing like it's a freeze out, which more or less means you should to. Mostly on the big sites people do dumb stuff because they think it's fun to gamble and they use "I did it to get a big stack" as an excuse. The videos you saw are probably people taking advantage of the gamblers.

As chincheck sort of said, if people are going to call an open shove with QJ you should shove AQ. If people are only going to call with 88+ and AK shoving 50BBs with AQ is not the way to go.

FWIW 25/10 is closer to loose passive than aggressive.

yes most nights it does feel like freeze outs and the payouts are not so inflaited ex:tonight $2 rebuy/add 156players 137 rebuys 73 add ons 1st place $219 ... not even 1 rebuy pre player i havent played other sites much esp rebuys but i would image more than 1 rebuy per player???

    FWIW??

25/10= loose/passive then do you belive my stats 18/10 are tight/passive?
i used 25/10 because on most nights i dont see anyone above 10pfr with over say 50 hands seen..cant remember last time i saw someone over 20
