I prefer betting the flop for about 100 rather than check/call - you can actually keep the pot size a little more under control if you bet and I think this is one of those situations where you can gain more information by betting than checking. On this board, pretty much the only hands that raise will be hands that beat you but hands that you beat will most likely just call BUT if you check, hands that you beat may bet more than you would bet yourself. Plus you'll have no idea whether you're ahead or behind.

As played, I definitely check and only call a bet of 1/2 pot or less

looks fine, HPS on river. I think betting the flop is also OK

Tai you're really worried he checked a better K behind on the turn? that makes no sense to me. Also I don't see why he would bet a PP or 9x/Qx here after checking the turn. c/c is just paying off better hands plus really random bluffs (again if he's bluffing why not do it on turn).

I bet 300 on river which is over HPS so maybe a bit much.

Whilst betting the flop is not terrible, I think c/c is a better way to play it. I don't mind hands I beat betting more than I would myself. That's their mistake not mine. I also fold out most of his garbage by betting the flop and I'd rather he felt his 77 or AQ was worth a stab at the pot.

I also think a lot of hands that beat me will flat. Particularly KT,KJ
