Default A7 on bubble, no clue

i have no clue how to play this which lead me to believe that maybe folding pre was best, but that seemed to nitty during the game, then i thought maybe shove but i don't think the blinds were high enough yet and i didn't want to shove into the big stack with the small stack still around, so i standard raise which should of bin 2.5bb i think. but it left me an awkard stacksize on flop.

I make it 400 to go preflop rather than 480, will save you a few chips if you have to give up. I don't think shoving preflop is the best move.

As played, I would bet 600 on the flop and tank if opp shoves over.

400 to go preflop for me. On flop as played bet 600 and call the shove.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

Its close to a preflop shove but 400-480 both seem ok to me. Probably bet only 300 on flop oppo might try a steal , then call/shove to a raise.

Have either of you noticed that this isn't ITM in a 9-man, this is the bubble of a 6-man?

I really don't think you can go wrong here at all. Folding/Raising/or shoving are all good here. Limping would be horrible here. 3 way any ace looks good. Here w/your stack A7o looks to be the nutz. A raise of 2.5x is good. As the blinds get higher less than 3x is ok. I don't mind a shove here either. I don't fold this hand pre-flop no way(w/no reads). But after the flop top pair is the nutz for sure. He didn't reraise preflop so maybe he doesn't have AK-AT. He looks to me like he's buying here. There's just no way to get off this hand. Not in my eyes. Oh and a bet of 600 post flop is ok too. If your cbets will get called. I don't mind checking here either. With the intention of check/raising or betting the turn. The boards not that scary. And he may just call the turn bet w/JT or QJ . He very well could have called w/ a hand like that KJ,QJ,JT and now think he's good.
