Default Frustrating HU session, any suggestions?

Below is the HU section from a tourney I played recently where opp would shove over very frequently when I raised from the SB/button. Any suggestions as to how I could play better?

    Agree, also open-shoving JJ/never folding.

Yep, I definitely should have open shoved the JJ. I guess I was hoping that he would shove over again, wasn't necessarily factoring in a call (but I should have been).

I think the whole thing is fine to be honest but I'd raise less with AQ and JJ, it looks weird when you've been raising 2.5x and suddenly raise 3x

Hand 15 is the only one of them that you might think about calling, Hand 17 I can't imagine he's bluffing after having shoved over your last three raises.

This is why I think you can't fold. He's shoving over so often there can't be too many aces in his flat-calling range.

    Hand 15 I'd call.

17 meh, surely he'd have something better now having shoved so many times previous. However I'm still pretty tempted.

Thought you played the AQ and the JJ semi-well, hoping for a shove over good, but raising more than last time I don't get.

Also the JJ hand, I think that is a weak fold on turn. He can't have many A's or K's in his range and I think he fires at this pot with everything in his range after the flop action.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

limp re raise a couple times with the weak Axs

also I think the K6 fold with second pair is bad, at least call but I just shove over. If in general vs aggressive opps you're looking for better than second pair you're going to get run over.

I usually make it 3x BB when the antes kick in at 100/200, but maybe that's wrong.

I don't feel the need to. By that stage blinds getting preflop odds won't call with crap because playing OOP with high blinds, and shallow stacks is not desirable. Only reason I don't minraise is because it looks donkish

I would do 3 or 3.5x OOP and 2.5 IP
  12. #12
Why do you want the pots bigger when OOP?
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.
  13. #13
I don't, I want more folds. Also, you're raising much better hands here vs IP so the pot being larger isn't so bad

also harder to extract value postflop oop.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Ahh, taipan, this guy belongs to MY games. What's he doing playing up in your buy-in level?
    Send him back down immediately!!!

Ok, so truthfully I play guys like this nearly every single night. As soon as it's HU they go freaking LAG crazy shoving. I usually give him the benefit of the doubt a couple hands, then start pounding the crap out of him with shoves. I know it's mathmatically wrong to shove alot of the situations I do HU, but this guy in particular doesn't factor into a normal equation. Although he's shoving, he usually doesn't want to call with crap.
