PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP (t1015)
    CO (t2735)
    Button (t1545)
    Hero (t3300)
    BB (t1900)
    UTG (t3005)

edit read it as hero was utg... must have been tired or something

Still don't think you need to push a 16BB stack to win 1.5BB, a raise will accomplish this

    isnt ALReturnsLOL from 2+2...?

I think the push is standard if bb is tight.

I am not gonna start a flame war on my first post. But please never reply to any of my threads again. You have no understanding of ICM. If your not gonna say anything helpful then don't reply, this is why I left 2+2

Do you realize this is +ev even if the BB is calling with

    22+,A2+,K2+,Q9o+,Q5s+,JTo,J8s+,T9s

The ev only increases as his range tightens, I know he is not calling this loose.

Yeah, good push, but you already knew that so I don't get why you're posting it.

Post some content next time pls. And welcome to ftr!

Hey Alreturnslol, welcome to FTR. I don't have many posts on 2+2 (only about 300 or so) but I use the same SN there. I understand what you mean about the 2+2ers not always being the friendliest bunch, that's why I've posted more here than there.

I'm sorry you didn't get the most civil reply to your first post. I also play the $16 turbos, happy to comment on any of your hands.

    thought you were 2+2.

    very welcome!!

you will find this place alot more user friendly than 2+2.

    hand as played is fine.

Would anyone try raising to say 500? Or will that look weak perhaps leading to a push over?
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

Hero has very good FE by pushing because he has the BB covered. The BB would be idiotic to be calling with a wide range here. If Hero ran into a big hand here, well sh*t happens.

That was my question as well although maybe 600 but surely that is better as you can still walk away?

I think from reading these forums i've developed a bad habit of pushing too frequently as I think it is costing me. Too often the advice seems to be 'push' which is probably correct taken in an isolated instance. No one ever said learning was easy.

take into account opp image, your image, his range.

BTW anything other than a push into BB is poor. opp has 10xBB, if we bet 3xBB and opp pushes then we MUST pay 7xBB more into 13xBB pot because pot odds would demand it.

so to avoid this we push for max FE and give opp no FE over us therefore he should tighten up a bit more for his tourney life.

i read it as hero being utg for some reason... you could have corrected me on that instead of being a dick about it though...

It looks like you dragged a little 2+2 in with you. Please wipe your feet at the door.
