Default hero time in the 50-50

It's the first hand, villain's OPR makes him seem like a huge fish but otherwise I have as many reads as you do. What do you think of my line here?

Donking drawy boards is just something I've been trying lately. I feel like the idea of betting to see where you stand actually has merit on boards like this. On a dry board, people are going to know that most of the hands in your range will hate getting raised, but on this type of board I can be leading a ton of hands to 3-bet allin so he can't just raise me with air very easily. Not that I would expect a fish to understand any of this, but most fish like to chase their draws rather than raise with them so leading might be valid, if they have a good hand they'll raise, if they have a mediocre one they'll just call. I don't know.

The river was just me not seeing why any hand other than 9x or a missed draw would make that big of a bet.

    Seems to be...well...50-50...

I think the turn is an interesting decision, as it's obviously a great card for you. Problem is a fish could easily cold call two streets with a monster even on a board this wet.

C/C on the river seems to be best option to get value from his bluffs.

If you decide he is drawing then the 9 is probably a brick and quite a scary one. Would a blocking bet maybe 350 work here? If the guy is a fish he will only see the three streets of bets and maybe fold hands like AQ or at least only call saving you some chips. If you get raised it makes the situation clearer.

A fish isn't folding any Q here for $350. For that matter, no one else is either.

Yeah I don't think anyone in the world is folding a Q to a blocking bet. I don't think AQ bets this much on the river though. If he had AQ I guess I would've gotten owned pretty bad.

even some donks wont flat twice on that board with straight/2-pair. id expect him to have Jx or a number of draws once he calls the turn. most of his showdown hands are checking river so your left with a huge % of his betting range as missed draws. nh

edit: agree with your last post. this is one of those spots where you just snapfistpump call

I would be very careful playing your hand on this board. Look like the opponent has trips 9s or a missed flush or even just a queen with a weak kicker

seems good, hand I would be most worried about is QT but I def think it's a bluff enough to call

From villain's standpoint, can think of a better hand I wouldn't raise on the flop, except maybe QT, like Dr said. And with QT I'd probably make a smaller bet on the river.
