    Default Caught stealing

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00+$0.20 Tournament, 75/150 Blinds (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP (t1795)
    Button (t2210)
    Hero (SB) (t4025)
    BB (t1945)
    UTG (t3525)

    Hero's M: 17.89

Preflop: Hero is SB with ,
3 folds, Hero raises to t375, BB calls t225

    Flop: (t750) , , (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets t450, Hero?

I was stealing from BB regularly when folded to me and everyone at the table is giving me plenty of credit for my hands as I have come back from a bad beat with AA which left me with 115 in chips early in the tourny. So BB completing here really felt like a hand hence my check on the K high flop. I didn't want to have to call an AI after I c-bet and was going to fold to a shove from BB. Is a call here bad? I'm pretty sure that if I hit my oesd I take the rest of BB chips.

I just shove preflop, opp won't call you wide and even if he does you're mostly a 40% dog at worst.

As played, I definitely c-bet the flop for 400, you'll take it down without a fight often enough on that board.

you caught a great flop, with outs vs anything plus a scare card, c bet is mandatory as played unless you think you get more folds with a check raise or by calling then shoving the turn. If you don't want to make a play at the pot with this board not shoving pre doesn't make sense. Compare this flop to KT2 and ask yourself which one you'd rather get action on.

Calling and trying to make a straight then giving up is no good just on price. You may think he has a 'hand' but you can't put him on 77, 99, AA or Kx based on him calling pre flop and those are about the only hands you get all his money with.

I forgot to add in my post, now that you checked and opp bet, I would just shove all in. You still have some fold equity and if called you're not faced with another tough decision on the turn if your OESD outs don't it.

K high 3-tone boards are the nuts for cbetting.

...particularly when you have an OESD as well.

aye the OESD makes it a semi-bluff which is better than the old bare-faced stuff normally. Just pointing out k-high flops rule for cbetting.

Ever noticed how often an AK v-bet on a k high flop gets no action?

oh my goodness I'd do anything for this flop with your hand in this situation. Shove before now. But now shove.

Well, guess I check one up for another that I played horribly. I ended up calling the bet, and got my draw on the turn. I checked again, which he bet into me, then I put him all in. Opp had AK.

Personally, I float K-high flops pretty wide.

In SNGs floating is usually a longterm losing play

Floating this flop with a bit more than 10BB behind is LOL bad. Mind you, calling pre is already pretty awful. I've never really understood why the fish want to "trap" us with unpaired hands.
