Default The Ultimate Donkament - 10cent 360 man turbos on Stars

So pokerstars gave me $10 for free since I never deposited any money, and I didn't know what to do with it. So I played 26 (6 at a time) of the 10 cents 360 turbos. These are the most ridiculously easy tournaments in the world.

    I finished ITM 14 times (over 50%), Final-tabled 4 times (15%), for an ROI of 450%.

I know 26 games isn't significant sample, but man, this game is so easy. If you show up with AA in the first round or two of these tournaments and open shove you can get anywhere from 1-5 callers all with crap. You basically just wait around for premium hands and shove and overshove when appropriated. Later around the bubble, a lot the players remaining are the few tight ABC players, but most of them don't understand how lightly they should be shoving from the CO, BUT, and SB when folded to and are way too tight with their calling ranges as short stacks.

I know you aren't going to make a whole lot of money, even with a 450% ROI, but it's not a bad way to more than double a $10 role in 4 hours.

    Anybody else play these?

Uh, no. But you'd be surprised as to how there isn't much difference between these and any other low-stakes MTT.

I think there is a big difference. I think they are similar to $1 MTTs, but definitely a lot lot worse. I have played a lot of $1 and $2 MTT, and I have never ever been able to open shove AA the first hand of a tournament and get 3-5 callers all without a pair or even AK. I have now played 55 of these tournaments and have made the money 28 times. There is no low buy-in tournament with 360 people paying out the top 36 that I know of where you make the money 50% of the time, and I have maintained an ROI of almost 300%.

Based on playing these low buyin tournaments since about 2003, I think the are big differences in MTTs between 1 and 5 dollars. I notice that in $1 MTT anywhere from 50%-75% of the field can be gone in the first hour. With $2 it ranges from 33-50%, and with $5 MTT it is usaully 25-33%. With $10 MTT sometimes only %20 of the field is gone. Maybe it depends what sites you play, and maybe on what time of day you play. But I think, over all, my ROI for these different levels reflects these difference in how many people bust out early, effectively making the tournament a much smaller tournament.

Have you ever tried setting it on "Fold to Any Bet" and seeing if you can get ITM? :P From what you say, it might work!

FWIW about half the field will be gone in most any BI tourney on stars or tilt by the first break, maybe 33% in the double stacks.

Default 10 cent 360 seat sit and go

I got a ticket to the Juno Invitational, had no money on account,i won 40 cents.I've since grinded it up to over $4 in less than 10 of those 10 centers. It is full of loose players but if you make it 30 minutes and double your stack you have a very good chance of finishing ITM.You're not gonna make much but it's easy to keep a stack and keep playing.

    Default sit an go

if you can triple up in first ten minutes, the fold to any bet has a decent chance of working.a lot of people sot out late in these you could even win a pot in the small blind if your lucky
