Default US people -- Pokerstars deposits?

Quick Update from one of the other threads. For the US citizens -- what method are you using to deposit money and what works the best? Both of my cc's are declined that I've used in the past due to the internet gambling law restrictions. I used an eCheck but it takes 10 days to clear and it is a max of $100....wtf. I'm also not sure if my bank is going to reject my request for an eCheck after they see where it is going. Makes me wish I never cashed out but I was in need of cash at the time ugh. They are definitely cracking down...

I'm not sure why this is in SNG Tourney Tactics, but to answer your question I've had a similar problem in the recent past and I highly recommend Western Union. With credit cards, it's a constant game to figure out which ones will accept them and which ones won't. There's no rhyme or reason and ones that may accept them today won't tomorrow. I don't know much about eChecks, but from what I remember, you need to give them your SSN and that was a big turnoff for me.

pre-paid all access visa works but it cost $10 to buy card, you only have to buy card once.it cost $2 to load it and $1 to use it on pokerstars.you can try e-check which is basicly a paper check from your bank.the're are also certain pre-paid mastercards that work, but i would e-mail support to find out which cards work,it would bite to get a card and it didn't work.best of luck hope you get it on.oh or you could use western union

I went the eCheck method back on the 27th. It is now almost the 4th and it hasn't even been debited from my bank account. PStars says it takes 10 days to clear on their end but I'm wondering if it is possible for an eCheck to be rejected for any other reasons other than "insufficient funds." I'm not going to play on "uncleared" money.

This may sound extreem, but I am actually going to open a bank account offshore just for the purpose of transfering money back and forth from poker sites. It is almost a necesity these days. I'll try to post back once I figure out what country/bank I'm going with.
