Free card or C-Bet

The gist of it is say I have A-Ko in position with an early position limper that calls my raise. Flop comes all rags 2-5-9 rainbow or whatever. EP checks, do you c-bet or check behind and take the free card??? He thinks c-betting is automatic, and I like the free card.... we go round and round about why we like both plays. Just wanted some other opinions..... Thanks...

If he has two unpaired cards that aren't a 2, 5 or 9, which is highly probable, what is the correct move? Just to make it more tangible, if you could KNOW the guy has QJ, would you give him a free card? Bet for value.
