Default Flatting a 4 bet from blinds

What does anyone think of this? Its obviously not something I would typically 3bet or call 4bet with, but decided to make a play on this guy and I'm trying to do some things that I wouldn't normally do to better my game in the long run. We've played quite a bit (over 2k hands) and I know he's very aggressive pre flop and on the flop and then will shut down. Stats are 15/13 3bets 6%
He steals 26% overall but this session (this day overall, not just this table) he had been playing very aggressive, had tried to steal almost every opportunity and had 3 bet me several times. Up to this point I had not really made any stand against him. I had called a 3bet w/88, called cbet on 7 hi flop and we both checked down from there, he had 99.
My plan is to c/shove any scary flop (almost any flop really) or especially non scary flop that I might happen to hit good. My flat of his 4 bet should scare him cause he sees me as pretty tight and straight forward I'm sure.

The fundamentals of your game are very flawed. I hope you realize it sounds ridiculous to make horrible plays to "better" your game.

    Ouch, brutal.
Ok, let me say a couple things in my defense, hopefully without just sounding too defensive. But I know I have issues with parts of my game and this isn't a normal part of my game. That's kinda why I posted it, I tend to get aggressive just to get aggressive despite the cards.
And I don't typically make "bad plays" to improve my game, but I do like to try different situations and try to learn from them. In this situation I had decided to push back at a player that I thought was taking advantage of my tight nature and if it cost me 100bbs then I was willing to do that.
I guess I didn't really get across what I was trying to ask. I wasn't really asking is it ok to 3bet 34o and call a 4 bet. I was more trying to get at does this line look like the strongest line I could take? More like I was trying to represent a very very strong range and looking at my range vs his range there's not much he can call with. Perhaps I should have just X'ed my hand out and asked what does this range look like.
But I'm a glutton for punishment so here we are...
Anyway although I wouldn't say I'm a good player I'd say I'm fairly solid and a long term winning player and normally not just throwing money at my opponents. (sounding defensive I know)
But the point is well taken so I'll just chalk it up to being fortunate to get away with one and move on.

    This is a leak. But, if you're learning/experimenting I don't think it's terrible.

these are obv terrible cards to 3bet in the first place let alone going crazy with calling 4bets. I think this is something that could work in isolation if you have reasonto belve they are 4bet bluffing a lot and will put you on QQ+ if you call but thats quite a lot of reads and would make this a very rare play and with these cards it's not ever going to be grerat. Also, I can't see why you would want to find a 4bet calling range since I don't think it's often corect to call 4bets vut I may be wrong in that point it's not an area of my game I've really looked at in that way.
