Default Do you ever slow play preflop on the bubble?

If you are in shove/fold mode on the bubble, do you slow play AA and KK?

Hypothetical: you have AA or KK on the button. You have 10 BB exactly. UTG folds, action to you. SB and BB are solid, one has a bigger stack than you, one has a smaller stack than you.

Call, min raise, 3x? Then shove the flop?

    Or just shove preflop?

Or perhaps it doesn't matter and there is no way to mess up these two hands on the bubble?

In the situation you describe I would tend to min raise pre rather than standard raise in an attempt to get some action, although it might send up a flag if I've been mostly standard raising in other spots. I'm never just calling pre here, that makes it too easy for them, and I'm shoving the flop regardless.

Although, if you're looking to piss someone off, limp and then bury them when they catch a piece of the flop. There's not much worse than catching top pair in a limped pot on the bubble and busting to AA.

    behind you with an axe
As mentioned, it depends how long push/shove has been going on. If it hasn't been long, I would min raise and hope for action, if it is a long way in, I'd just shove and hope this is one of the times I get called.

I'd just shove it. I believe it's a tipoff if we try to normal raise if we're down to shove/folding.

Though...I might limp if I'm pretty sure one of the blind players will shove into me, but this requires me to have seen them punish limpers heavily before and are being overly aggressive.

I would min raise, the blinds will often call with all kinds of rubbish hands. If your not sure of your postflop play then just shove.

I would just do a standard 2.5x-3.0xBB raise idk what blinds are at and how low you were but pushing on the flop is pretty much the only play to do next.

probably standard raise unless i'd pushed pre before in that tournie.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

If I'd already been pushing here preflop on the bubble, I'm going to just continue with that and push again here now.
