    Default 1010 and JJ....the in-between pocket pairs

Just wondering if anyone had any opinion on pocket 10's or J's in early, middle, or even late with limpers/raisers with a full table. Ive gotten to where I hate getting pocket 10's---never know quite what to do with them. Both 10's and J's seem to give false confidence or lead to uncertainty with a scary flop/board. If you have a favorable board and have the overpair youre verlnerable to the set, the guy who loves draws, or the guy that thinks overcards are the best thing in the world. And when calling a raise, scare cards are likely to come up. My strategy seems to be throw out the feeler but this can be costly over time. Anyone have a rule of thumb? Especially in situations when you have a raiser and/or multiple limpers?
I finally figured out my problem, my logic is flawed.

JJ and TT are the 4th and 6th best starting hands in terms of their % chance to win a showdown. So you have to play them and should be fairly confident you have the best hand before the flop. When you think you are ahead I think you should try and get some money in the middle. After the flop they are just a pair I try to re assess at this point, if the flop brings an overcard and 50% of the time it will you have a decision to make.
So my idea make a decent raise, if you get callers they probably have a top 10% hand. (making you 58% to win)
if an ace flops you are only 41%
if its a King you are 46%
if its a Queen you are 48%
If two overs arrive you are 31%.
Proceed with real care the 50% of times their is an over, fold to two overs, CB with only one.
