Check behind on the flop, gets you one street closer to showdown without having to put any chips in the pot. I would then call relatively small bets to the river to try to show this hand down. That said, betting this flop isn't as bad as betting an A high flop, but I still prefer to check behind.

As played, yuck - fold I guess - I don't think a flush draw plays like this and with this sort of small bet I don't think opp is afraid of getting called. If you had checked behind and opp had bet the same proportion of the (smaller) pot, it would be a much easier bet to call.

Surprised tai. I like the c-bet on K high flop. You may well be best, and there is a flush draw out there too. He can't really call without a K or better here so I fold the turn and hate it

As I said, I think c-betting this flop is better than c-betting an A high flop, but to me I think the check behind allows us to get to showdown far cheaper than otherwise. For example if we checked behind on the flop and he donkbet 100 on the turn, easy call.

Yep, but if he bets big on the river I let it go.

The thing about c-betting this flop is that you are most likely in a WAWB scenario. You aren't getting a K to fold and most of the hands that you are beating would fold. If you check behind on the flop you may be able to induce a bet from smaller PP's or draws.

this isn't WA/WB, he can easily have Ax or either draw. WA/WB is A2 on an A33r board. Putting him on a range of Kx and PPs doesn't make sense.

that said with our stack size I don't mind checking because if he has a draw we're in a bad spot either way and our hand has enough show down value where I'd like to get to the river. If he's an aggressive player I would bet because you aren't going to be able to call two barrels anyway and maybe he'll just give up. If he often does things like bet 1/3 the pot then check behind.

Not WA/WB, that's KK on A high flop.

tbh the two clubs would make me less tempted to cbet, on rainbow boards he's getting one.

    behind you with an axe
Have to say I would bet the flop. If it was an ace I wouldn't, that would be a WA/WB, but there is a huge chance he called preflop with an A or a pp, and I wanna take that pot on the flop if I can.

    As played, reluctantly fold.
