    Really! Stop checking the turn.

    The first 2 hands, I think that checking the turn is an out and out mistake.

    The last hand's tricky. How nitty is he? How much history do you have on him? If he's only 3-betting you preflop with Aces / Kings / AK then there's not much value continuing here. In real life, it's AK and I've got tptk, I'm probally calling; but I think it might be correct to fold.

    For those 1st 2 hands, bet the turn! It's the only correct play.

    Judging from the responses I have no idea when to check for pot control. Can someone clarify what kind of situations you would check the turn for pot control?

    Ask yourself this question on every street....

    Is it probable that I'm ahead, or am I likely to be behind?

    For the 1st two hands the answer should have been that you were ahead; so concern should be maximizing the pot, not controlling it
