    Default Folding to a seat?

So I am leading a 71 person r/a tourney but r/a period is over. Top 15 get a seat, I am in first with 12k chips, average is 6600, blinds are 100/200 and 34 people are left.

I have TT mid pos, I limp for 200, second in chips, seat behind me raises to 800. Is this an easy fold since I can likely fold to a seat? What should I be playing? As typing this I have kings lol

haha now at 17.5k taking out a guy with QQ there. Still curious about the TT situation though.

Don't limp, you don't want to be seeing flops or encouraging people to make plays at you.

    as played yes, fold

Idea of the limp was if a small stack all ins I'll call it, but I don't want to get called by a bigstack and have to play them if I raise.

i get it but your job is not to eliminate people, it's to win a seat. You want to do that by winning as many small pots as you can. The blinds will eliminate people. You would hate, for example, for a small stack to shove over with a hand like QJ that he would have folded had you raised.

don't forget the second big stack should be even more afraid of you than you are of him.

Good point with the QJ, didn't consider that. I agree with the second point to although he was a bit of a donk. Ok, next time, will raise, thanks!

Don't need to be limping period. Your main goal is to get your seat. And believe it or not fold the TT and also AA, KK, QQ if it puts you in a compramising position to where you could not get your seat.

Hell, whenever I played tourneys I never wanted to get people out. The rest of the players can do that. If I have a good hand, sure why not, I've got the right odds, ok. But don't let the fact that you're the chip leader lead you to believe that it's up to you to get people out.

Oh, never open limp, no point. You can never win a pot right off the bat with a limp. Better to raise TT and get slightly better hands to fold than to limp and have slightly worse hands to raise you off of it.

limping was ok. and folding was ok. pending on how many chips he had left, i probably would've done the same thing. 1010 does nothing but lose me chips unless i set up.
And i yelled to the cabby YO HOLMES SMELL YA LATER
