Default Couple of hands from $3.40 Turbo SNG - 10 man

I played this SNG with an aggressive mindset. I don't think I was LAGGY, but I really pushed hard on the hands I had. Here are my stats for the session:

    ---Tournament Summary---
    $3.40 Turbo SNG: Finished 1/10 for $15.00
    Data for 52 hands.
    You played 12 hands (23.08%)
You raised 9 times preflop (17.31%)

Now here are two hands from the session that I'd like your feedback on. The first hand I had was 10-10 in the CO. There was a small raise in front and one caller with one player to act after me. I called knowing I had position. If someone had pushed behind me, I probably have to throw this hand away since I'm pretty much playing it for set value.

Does anyone like this play or should I have re-raised pre-flop? I put the initial raiser on Ax and after the flop, I knew I was probably way ahead but extremely vulnerable.

Second hand. In this case, I had one limper who happened to be second in chips. I don't know why but I decided that he might come along for the ride if I pushed here. It's not something I'd normally do, but I had a gut feeling about it.

Again, does anyone agree or disagree with this play? If I lose, I'm pretty much done since I'd have about $700-800 chips left, but seeing the flop, I would have had a dilemma on my hands with a gutshot and a certain raise from the Villain.

The reason why I ask these questions is I'm trying to not to get results orientated. Sure, I like the results, but I'm more interested in making the right play at the right time.

i like the first play and would play it generally the same way except i might reraise a bit less on the flop then shove the turn. preflop i call as well early in a tourny mostly playing for set value. but a leak in my game is that i do have trouble with 9's 10's and j's when i have an over pair after the flop i seem to over value them.

but i don't really understand the push with AK, if he folds your getting no value from your big hand and if you do get a call theirs a good chance your on the wrong side of the flip against the second stack. i really don't understand the play. you want a call? your hoping he calls with AQ? because most players won't call with AJ or worse, of course worked out and his call was sick, but thats gonna be rare even at the low stakes.

also even if you know hes calling wide do you really want to play for almost allyour chips with a 60/40 edge. would like to see the icm math if your sure he's calling. anyways i standard raise pre.

Actually, I didn't think he would call. I was hoping to get one of the other much shorter stacks to call. I thought my aggressive approach would make them think I was bluffing. Apparently, it only made the 2nd stack think I was bluffing.

As you stated, I would normally raise about 3x-4xbb there, but I guess I was experimenting with hyper-aggressiveness to see where it would lead. I don't think I'd do it again unless I had a huge chip lead.

I agree with what fulksy said, he pretty much covered it. I may also re-raise a bit less but then you need to get your chips in on the turn even if a scare card comes (ie. a broadway card).

BTW tuuk, don't post results as they can influence what people think about the hand - I have edited them out of your post.
