    Default For you math guys...

Alright I'm trying to figure out where best my Full Tilt FPPs should go. There are lots of different SnGs out there that lead to bigger tourneys so I thought math would be the deciding factor and since I suck at this kind I thought maybe someone would want to figure it out so...

    Here is the info...
Only first gains entry we won't count 2nd 3rd as they just get their buy in back.

    Buy in: 20 FTP
    Players: 180
Win: entry to 3500 ftp sat. top 36 do Sunday Brawl for $240 + $16

    Buy in: 50 FTP
    Players: 54
Win: entry to 2500 ftp sat. tob 36 do Million for $500 + $35

    Buy in : 150 FTP
    Players: 18
    Win: "

    Buy in: 300 FTP
    Players: 9

    Win: "

I'm afraid they're all the same, but what are your thoughts?

Usually they are all the same as an FPP has a pretty fixed $ value

Yeah, they usually just get their money back. Only 1st is worth anything.

so then it becomes a question of how big a field for how big a payout would you like to take a shot at.

Yeah I think the value is pretty much the same base it on how well you play in sitngo's versus donkrolls, personally I would play the nine seaters.
I would rather have a bottle in front of me then a frontal labotomy

I can probably do the 9 person no problem but it's the amount of points I need so I'm trying to figure out which one of the lower ones should I try.

Honestly in my opinion I wouldn't bother with any of them (seriously!). The only one I would consider is the 300pt. 9-player game, where 1st takes 2,500FTPs and 2nd gets 200 (something like that).
What I would do (having had some experience playing in a variety of FTP games) is to wait till you have either 500FTPs and then play the 500FTP super satellite to the $750K (an mtt that runs each day I think at 20:58, where 1 in 5 win 2,500FTP's, then 'unregister' from it and re-invest the 2,500 in some other stuff,.. perhaps taking a few more shots at the 500FTP mtt sup.sat.). The majority of the players in this mtt are total donks though, so be ready for some badbeats and brutal suckouts. Personally I've had very little success in this one but have had a friend win it 4 of 5 tries (and now has a Fulltilt wardrobe, lol).
It really depends on what type of game you excel in or have the most experience on. If it's sng's, then I'd wait till you have 650FTP's and then play the 9-plyr. sng, where Top3 win pts. (oh,.. I just checked FT lobby and they don't seem to have that one anymore,... was there a couple of weeks ago??).
Damn, now I'm realizing I wouldn't be able to suggest what to play to ya...... sigh.... The only one I'd personally play would be the one I mentioned to you above - 500FTP >> 2500FTP.
The pts. on FT don't seem to give ya very decent odds on much of anything.
the 20ftp 180plyr. is HORRIBLE, so is the 50ftp 54 plyr., the 300ftp ones are longshots. I think you're better off to just let them sit and build up rather than donkin' them off in one of those small ftp buyins, that are big longshots with a bunch of bingo players.
... sorry that this probably hasn't been much help at all

Nah, I didn't know about the larger tourneys I'll put some time into looking at them. Thanks.
