Default down to the last 3 - did I play it wrong?

    Hi all,

The following is the last 6 hands of a 10 man SNG, this is all of the hands once it was down to 3 players. Due to the size of the blinds and relatively even stack sizes I went by the theory that I should pretty much push with ATC and I finished 3rd.

Did I play this wrong? Should I have played more conservatively?

I had exactly the same situation on another table simultaneously and also finished 3rd in that one, I will also put the last few hands of that torney in a seperate post.

    All comments most welcome.

I don't like the call on hand one, normally we're at best a coinflip and at worst a 70/30.
Hand 2 is okay, but maybe make your blind steal a little smaller in case you get re-popped all in.
Hand 5 fold it preflop, you have been actively blind stealing... ace high calling is going to happen a lot if you're this aggressive and not showing down cards.
Hand 6 id fold and hope the bb brings me a better hand when im at least pot invested. id say that this was a tilt shove.

Seriously, thats just retarded! Why when you want to steal blinds a lot would you go and advertise that you steal with crap?

and blind sizes were 400/800, it was due to this that I was pretty much willing to shove with anything.

first of all, you werent critically short!! therefore, you shouldnt be willing to shove "anything." you should still be a bit selective. maybe top 40%, but not trash.

i am not calling the shorty with ATC, either, in hand one. that call of JT is pretty bad, imo.

and, look at what pushing that K3 did to your stack! i know i said in your other thread that pushing with the lead stack is generally a good thing, but here, the others are awfully close to you in stack size. i dont want to get caught with crap in my hand and lose a flip dropping me to critical levels. not ever, especially if you've been active of late.

Thanks for all your responces, appreciate the feedback.

This torney I don't feel I played as well as I could have, too many other things to concentrate on perhaps, 4 tables is the max I can really focus on and 2 of them down to 3 players makes it a bit much for me to play optimally. Again no real reads but both players were very tight from 5 players onwards and both had negative ROI & total profit.

Here's my take on the hands:

Hand 1 - I'm the big stack with approx 50% of the chips on the table. It's the first hand of all of us being in the money and small stack pushes. I figure he's attempting a steel as he has an M of approx 2.4 and he is BB next hand which will annialate most of his stack. So I thought the TJ was a good call. In hind site I'm not sure about this one. Would like to see ICM analysis with small stack pushing say 75% of hands.

Hand 5 - I stand by pushing with Kx when I'm sb and blinds are this huge.

Hand 6 -tilted and should of waited.
