Default QK OOP should I have bet the river here?

Just would like to know your thoughts on if I should have bet the river here or not, just recently trying to make a go of SNG's so you'll probabally see me in this forum quite a bit now.

Also if he bets the river behind my check, do I give him credit for the straight or a set and fold, that would be my default play here, is that an ok fold on the river do you think?

I'm playing these without a hud to force me to pay more attention so I don't have any stats. He did seem to be entering quite a few pots though, about five of the last seven hands he'd played.

    Thanks for any feedback!

With three opps seeing the flop I would have bet the flop harder, say 160-180 or so. Your small bet actually can give some opps correct odds to chase a flush draw if there are other callers in front.

As played, I think the turn bet is OK and I check the river (with the intention of calling a bet).

Thanks taipan will do in future, if I had bet harder and had been raised, I'm guessing I fold this there and then?

Read dependent, but if you bet the flop and gotten raised I would probably just shove over. The only hands you're really afraid of are sets and AK and opps at a $1.20 tourney will raise a flop bet with lots of hands that you beat.

i don't like going for a check-raise in a limped pot; in limped pots, they could have Lord-knows-what and everyone gets paralyzed into checking their 97s and A6o. I'd like a slightly larger bet, as taipan suggested; the $100 bet isn't terrible though -- I guarantee if one of these limptards had KJ/KT, they'd reraise the flop.

Having gotten two callers, I'd definitely bet close to pot on the turn and make it clear we're headed for stack-off territory. You're really only worried about 22, 66; obviously clubs and probably As are bad cards. (Unless you're playing against vqc, he's limping AK).

As played, I think the river check is fine as long as you intend to call once you've induced the bluff.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

i check here as well. i dont think there are any hands that beat you can get to fold here. although you may have KJ or KT calling here. but right now all you got is a pair and no reason to build a big pot. i'd check call here. this also gives a busted flush draw a chance to bluff as they most likely can't call a river bet.
