Tournaments for Cash Games.

I think they exist but I'm not sure. Are there tournaments for Cash game players where you play with your real cash for a bigger prize?

Like the one to make the most in a week's time gets a nice extra package with it. You don't have to play against others in the tournament to make the money.

I don't understand the logistics of it. If the reward is the most succesful cash game player gets the most money I've played in these...
