raise more pre to avoid getting yourself in awkwardville.

if you raise to 2500 pre this becomes an easy shove on the flop (if he calls pre).

that type of pre-flop line is definitely something I need to work on. What range of hands would you take that line with and would you then shove just about any flop?

Yeah I'd either make a big pot committing raise or else make it small, like 1100, depending on what I thought of him. Usually you shouldn't make bets that leave you a stack to pot ratio of around 1.5 because that's just an awkward situation when you have the initiative.

Ahhhhh, SPR's. I am reading PNLHE now and am just at the SPR chapter so hopefully that will help in these situations. Also just ordered "Kill Everyone" using FPP's and have Negreanu's "Power Holdem Strategy" to read.

with TT and a limper Id shove pre.
Big stacks enter too many pots and call to liberally. Any raise you make is pot comitting and with M<8 you want to get all the chips in anyway.
In this position I would be shoving a wide range. Probably ignore the caller and shove slightly more than the Kill everyone table suggests.
