Default KJo flops top pair and OESD ($27)

Opp's stats were 20/0 up to this point (note: only 15 hands). Easy shove over to the flop donkminraise?

Agree, due to his stack size now, a smaller reraise from you, if called, will have him pot committed, so this is the last point at which you have any fold equity in the hand. May as well use it.

I think so. Hands too strong to play slow.
Just dipping my toes back in.

I think that its fine. Most of the time, min check raises from donks are drawing hands when on the flop. Turn min check raises are normally the nutz. Min check raise would be silly if he had a set or 2 pair on this flop (doubtful that its a set because he would have 3bet pre). Str8 is a possibility, but you have to put him on a range. Your hand plays well against his range. You could make it like 1080, but whatever. Just curious, why the 4x pre?

My standard raise at Stars level 1 and 2. I find that 3x gets called in too many places.

Makes sense. How does that work for you? Do you find that the pot gets slightly too big with marginal hands like KJo and it makes it difficult to throw out a respectable cbet when you miss?

Since you're on the buttton, you don't have to raise that much for it to be effective. You could raise 3x, get called, they check, you cbet and they fold. If they call your cbet, you just try to get to showdown or fold to a c/r if unimproved. You loose less when the cbet doesn't work.

When the blinds call my raise and it's early, I'm almost 100% cbetting all flops because they could have anything. In addition, I'm trying to conserve chips in a turbo STT to preserve FE and therefore I don't want to risk that much if I miss. But its probably just a minor thing and whatever works go with it.

That's why I only do it level 1 and 2 when I have close to a starting stack (or above) so the pot doesn't inflate too much. Once blinds hit 25/50 I make it 3x then 2.5x thereafter.

I think your move is OK, I am wondering if calling and letting him fire again on the turn and then push is a better move, if you are behind he is calling your push almost 100% of the time, if he has FD+SD combo or FD+pair he is not going anywhere either, so the only combination you dont really want to give a free card to is Qx which is not a FD/SD (unlikely) or naked FD (also not likely)
