been out the game for a while. getting back into things. this is prob standard but comments appreciated.

is anyone re-raising PF or is a call fine? does anyone check the flop trying to induce a bet from villain then CR? no reads as 1st hand...

I'd probably shove over preflop against an unknown $6.50 player, but if your read is that CO is tight, flatting and getting it in on a non A/K flop is OK.

On the flop, why the overbet? You are chasing out some hands that you want to call, like non-combo draws. I make it 500 to go, call a shove and getting it AI on the turn if opp just flat calls.

    Thanks...

I kinda shoved the flop without really thinking about it.

probably should shoved over pre to stop any difficult decisions post flop where my game sucks balls!!

I think preflop is OK, I would lead flop for about 2/3 pot and call a shove

I would of raised to 500 preflop, obviously calling a shove, and shoving another raise.

I think near pot-size bet is best but I think overshowing this is OK, too. You'll get called by worse plenty of times because they'll put you on a draw. If you have a read that villain is very aggro, CR is fine, too. With the blinds this low, I think most reraising ranges are fairly wide (i.e. 88-JJ, AQ+).

at the $6.50's Im kinda leaning toward shoving over the reraise as the best move. you'll get called often enough for it to be profitable in the long run i reckon.
