    Default Best video training site?

    Guys,

I currently have a DC subscription that is finishing off within a couple of weeks.
I would like to you which video training site would be better currently for 6max?
    Is Leggo still the best?
    Which coaches are the best?

    Thanks!

i dislike DC recruitment strategy. way toooooo many mid/low stakes donks lol. just flooding DC with low quality.

imo bluefirepoker could be good tho it just started. instructors carefully picked by Jman

I agree Bluefire looks good - would love to hear any reviews.

I still have about 4 months left on a free StoxPoker membership, so I'm going to stick with that for now.

I've found Stox very good so far - they have some quality coaches and a wide range of videos. In fact I'm wondering how I'm going to get through all the ones I want to watch.

I have a Leggopoker membership. I think MYMNMIZGREG makes crazy good videos. Also Aejones' ones are great. (And it's fun to watch Sauce crush and sometimes spew - altough he only have 3 videos out)

Yes, an not since september so i kinda doubt there will be much more, he has also stopped updating his blog so idk.

Regarding ae, he is a douche. But a very funny one. And a good poker player and instructor imo. Also he minbetinducing and 3betting all in over a potcommiting c/raise from an aggrodonk, playing with hidden cards and having the best hand with Khigh and no draw is epic

Ok guys, I have subscription at all of these training sites. BlueFire is really sick, mostly because it has Jman vids, and Dr.Giggy vids are pretty good too. But for you guys, I think it's better to go for something like CardRunners. They just have so many good vids available, that you can spend weeks just watching only quality product from CTS, Stringer, BT etc.. You can also get the membership for free if you play on FullTilt.

I'd rather get BlueFire as a 2nd site just because they don't have as many vids and seems to be a little more expensive too. I havn't watched any Leggo or DC vids in a cpl months, they've lost their appeal for various reasons.....

DC just lost DogIsHead, and 80% of Leggo's vids are now made by random guys they just signed

I agree with Alex on the sites.

I haven't watched a leggo vid in agesss (aside from the AE not looking at his cards vid a few days ago, which was more for entertainment). I actually think lwrunner's vids are pretty good, even though he sounds like a tool and is a complete degen.

DC is also kinda losing its appeal, though I think their older PLO vids are still some of the best vids for learning PLO.

For a while there CR hit the bottom, but I think its back up top now in terms of content and people making vids.

Bluefire is decent, but doesn't have that many vids yet.

Yeah this is really weird (regarding Leggo). They used to have some awesome guys doing the small stakes. And while it doesn't take much to be small stakes, it was nice to hear a good player's thought process on these standard situations to be used as building blocks for more advanced situations.

Now it seems like it's either just some rando playing, or a high stakes guy that pauses the video for like 10 minutes while he over analyzes a situation.

You can't go wrong with either DC or Leggo. Cardrunners has a few good videos out of the bunch but just watch CTS and raptor.

dc and leggo are awful now. id HIGHLY recommend bluefire. and obv CR now that they have dogishead is a good option.

yeah I'd go with CR and bluefire. I don't have a bluefire subscription but they obv. have jman and fees. I also know their "smallstakes" coach socalquest and he was very sick at 100NL and 200NL and is now at higher stakes.

I had leggo until this month, I haven't clicked on the link in 3 months. Leggo lost a ton of luster. Agreed AEJones is a douche, I have no time for him. Yes he can play but fuck, how about talking about the poker instead of talking shit. Sauce made 3 vids and I only signed up for him. DC is good, the site is uncomfortable to work around and after you get through the 5 or 6 series that are worth watching there is little left. Bluefire looks good and anything that has Jman has to be gold. I think CR is back on top, sucks that every FT player on the planet will have subscriptions though. You almost want to watch the vids to figure out what they will all be doing at the tables next.

im actually gonna use FTP points to go on CR very soon. by then BFP should have more vids up.

btw anyone actually buy Slowhabit/CTS book????

Bluefire poker is by far my favourite.

DC/CR/Lego have just become so boring and standard minus the odd good video from their top pros.

im in the same boat of my DC membership expiring at the end of this month. I have the free cardrunners/stox membership now and that will last as long as the promo because i only play on FTP these days, but im not sure if i should keep up DC or not. I still think they have a decent amount to offer. the only thing that turns me off bluefire is the price. They are just charging too much for the amount of vids they have. its not even that much money just the principle of it.

Is BlueFirePoker a good option now? Since my DeucesCracked subscription finished end of February I didn't apply to a new one ... so I'm still wondering ...
CardRunners does not seem to have a lot of Internetpokers vids ...
  31. #31
For you I'd probably choose CardRunners and its not close...

So many good vids to catch up on.

The trouble is that I don't have a lot of time to watch videos (nor to play poker for that matter) so I have to use quality vs quantity.
In CR there are so many Vids that I will loose my time before I get a good video. I suppose, however, that the quality of the vids of BlueFirePoker is much better, even if they have few vids, right?

Sure then if ure gonna watch only 1 vid/week might as well be Jman

You guys know there are like 30 training websites around now apparently? There's pokersavvy+ which has ansky... I was actually hoping to see a few people list some of the other sites besides CR/DC/LP/BFP. There have to be some quality players on some of these.

Personally, I watch CR and BFP vids but I'm always looking for alternative perspectives on the game, some of these other sites might have them. Anybody have any info?

    -BUMP-

I want to get some time in with videos, and BFP definitely seems like the way to go for me based pretty much just on this thread. It's expensive as hell tho, and I wont have a ton of time over the next month or so to watch vids. I'm thinking I'll go with one of the cheaper sites for now, but I don't really want to try to sift thru the garbage.

If I were to grind out some FTP points to get a CR pass, whose videos should I be watching for mid stakes cash games?
    Check out my self-deprecation here!

if you play on FTP, just sign up at truelyfreepokertraining.com or something like that and get it for free if you get more than 7k FTP's per month.
