    Default Some analysis please

I've recently started playing on titan poker. I initially had a good run, and now am having a downturn. I do feel my standard of play has not been as good recently too. Anyway, here are some hands. Any feed back is greatfully appreciated.
P.s. I only play $1, $2 tournements at the mo.

Titan Poker Cheshire 20/40, hand converted by the iPoker Converter

    Button (2040)
    SB (1750)
    BB (910)
    UTG (1470)
    UTG+1 (1370)
    CO Hero (1460)

Preflop: Hero is in the CO with Ts Qs
2 folds, Hero raises to 120, 2 folds, BB calls 80.

    Flop (260) 6s Qd 6h
BB checks, Hero bets 260, BB raises to 520, Hero raises to 1340

    Hand 2:

Titan Poker Cheshire 20/40, hand converted by the iPoker

    Button Hero (1100)
    SB (2040)
    BB (1180)
    UTG (1880)
    UTG+1 (1490)
    CO (1310)

Preflop: Hero is on the Button with Qh Ad
3 folds, Hero raises to 120, 1 fold, BB calls 80.

    Flop (260) As Qd 6h
BB bets 130, Hero raises to 980

This I think this bet was too much - should I have come in at 260-350 to get more value. The villan was a loose calling station

hand 3: - really don't like this [Results edited out]

Hand1: standard, but isn't it a little early in the tournament to be messing with QTs?
Hand 2: Answered your own q there.
    Hand 3:
Hand 4: Why did you call that flop.

Also, what's your u/n? I usually play FR SnG's on Titan but I'll look you up for a game of 6M sometime.

Don't post results, I edited them out of your post.

Hand 1 (QTs) - Preflop is OK although I'm not delighted about QTs in the CO. I'd bet a little less on the flop, 180-200 should be plenty. At a $1/$2 tourney, shoving over on this flop is fine.

Hand 2 (AQo) - make it 400 to go and hope he shoves over

Hand 3 (J8o) - fold preflop, either check the flop or bet less (say 120), fold to the raise (even the minraise). That flop is very dry (draw free) so chances are if you're getting raised, you're way behind.

Hand 4 (A7o) - fold the first, second and third times. Sorry to be harsh but the second and third calls are really bad. Firstly, UTG is very likely not limp/re-raising with any hand that you're ahead of. Secondly, the flop call is a total disaster with a shover and a caller in front and all you have is bottom pair and no draw.

don't think you need a bunch of echoes from other players. the analysis above is good.
pick your spots carefully. when you nail a hand like the AQ hand, try to think about how to get paid off.
post a few more hands and folks will keep giving you good advice and you can look for ways to improve your game.

    Thanks for the advice.

Should I even be getting involved with hand 4 pre-flop? Normally I'd ditch it early in the tournament.

I knew calling was stupid - my only rational is that they vilans had been bluffing/calling with draws or less - so it felt like a chance to put my self in a very strong postion - and if I lost I'd be back to square one.

luco - I'm also thebluetick on titan - i live in the uk and am a very casual player - so you'll catch me in late evenings my time.

There's no need to play hands like A7o so early on, even with reads. With an M of around 30 you should be sitting tight and waiting for a monster. If you don't know what 'M' is, I suggest you have a look around FTR.

I'm in the UK too, will keep an eye out for you (although I prefer the full ring SnG's to 6M).

Yes, just fold it and move on. Definitely fold to the re-raise, calling the re-raise was in many ways worse than raising over the UTG limper the first time around.
