Default $2.20 180 man turbo on stars

Played in this last nite for fun, the buy in is 2 bucks for a potential 1st place score of $108. One thing that bothered me though, was that my success in this just felt like a lot of luck. By the middle of the tourney, almost everyone has <8bbs or so. Just a shovefest basically. Can a player ever have a substantial edge in these types of sngs? To me it just does not seem possible. What do you guys think?

To win tournaments, you need to learn to play shove/fold poker. You'll be amazed at how many people are terrible at it.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

It takes a share of luck for sure, but there are +EV shoves/calls and -EV shoves/calls. Learning to tell the difference is what will give you an edge long term.
Just dipping my toes back in.
